SATURDAY EVENING CONTEMPORARY SERVICE
On Saturdays throughout the summer, St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Belfast, will explore the theme of "faith and our relationship to the earth" during the 5 p.m. contemporary service. Join us this Saturday for "All Creatures Great and Small - Who is our Neighbor?".
St. Margaret's Rector, the Rev. Martha Kirkpatrick, is the former commissioner of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, and was the Environmental Missioner for the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. "The connection between the health of our planet and Christian faith has long been a passion of mine, and I feel so blessed to be in Belfast, where there is so much environmental awareness. I am excited to be dedicating our Saturday Service for the next several weeks to caring for the earth."
These services are relaxed and of interest to all generations. Come as you are! All are welcome.
